Day 31 Dev Blog - Summary
Hello guys,
Yeah it’s been 10 days without write down anything.
I make some good progressions, a little bit level design to blocked out location and test NPC navigation with NavMesh.
I also upgrade project to URP so I can use good 2D water effects and lighting effects, which is critical for game events like Mid Autumn Festival or Floating Lantern Festival.
Farming routine is now nearly done, with about 15 crops implemented and tested, using fine assets for crops and trees.
Yesterday, I add rice field and crops decorations, which belong to NPCs and they are auto grow daily.
Today, I worked on introduction cinematic (simple slideshows and subtitles) and cutscenes too.
Good luck with our project. I hope I can complete the MVP, build up the Steam page soon before starting dev session livestream to gain some attentions for the title.
